ADAC has no reservations about blending biodiesel
- B7 not comparable with E10
Munich, 11 April 2008. The ADAC currently has no reservations about the planned blending of biodiesel at a level of seven per cent, as planned for 2009 by the Federal Government. This has been announced by the association of the German biofuels industry (www.biokraftstoffverband.de). At the present time, the club is checking whether diesel-engined vehicles could be harmed in any way by the introduction of the new fuel. So far, there is no evidence of that. The ADAC has contacted motor manufacturers in order to clarify their positions on the new fuel specification.
