Supreme quality is our number one goal. That is why ongoing quality controls are the central feature of our value chain. State-of-the-art measuring and control technology controls our production systems. Employees monitor all important system parameters on screens at the process control points and modify them as and when required.
Assessment of suppliers as part of the quality management
system
Rape is supplied by selected oil mills with individual certification and proof
of origin.
Quality control of incoming goods
Before filling the rape oil into our tanks we take a sample and have it analysed
additionally by our laboratory staff. The vegetable oils (rapeseed, soya,
palm oil) must comply with our quality specifications.
Transesterification into biodiesel
The main ingredients are rape oil and the usual liquid catalysts for the transesterification process. Transesterification is a chemical reaction in which the molecular structure is changed. As well as biodiesel, crude glycerol is also produced in this process. The biodiesel is washed in order to meet the requirements of the DIN EN 14214 standard.
Reprocessing crude glycerol into pharmaceutical grade

The resulting crude glycerol is acidified and evaporated. This produces technical grade crude glycerol. To acquire pharmaceutical grade glycerol the crude product must be purified so that it is 99.5 % pure. The ratio of biodiesel to glycerol is approximately 10:1.
Quality control of outgoing goods
We pay close attention to ensuring that no product leaves out plant that does
not meet the stringent quality requirements of the Working Group for the Quality
Management of Biodiesel (AGQM) and the current standard DIN EN 14214.
Dispatch
At the end of the production process we supply our customers with biodiesel
of constantly superb quality. This can be checked at any time by retaining
samples of every batch produced and of every consignment.
